Mario Klingemann’s 'Memories of Passersby I' on Display at Busan Museum of Contemporary Art

Mario Klingemann’s celebrated artwork Memories of Passersby I (Companion Version) is currently featured in the exhibition I’m sorry Dave I’m afraid I can’t do that at the Busan Museum of Contemporary Art, Korea, until April 13, 2025.

The BusanMoCA Platform fosters dialogue on global environmental and technological challenges by uniting creators, researchers, and technologists. Its 2024 edition explores the intersections of digital intelligence and human interaction through installations, AI works, data sculptures, and video, examining AI, creativity, and the environment while addressing broader questions on reality, empathy, and coexistence.

Klingemann’s Memories of Passersby I exemplifies these ideas, showcasing the artist’s innovative approach to using algorithms and AI to probe the boundaries of creativity and perception. Klingemann has worked with institutions like The British Library and Google Arts and Culture, with exhibitions at MoMA, the Centre Pompidou, and ZKM Karlsruhe.
